A herpes outbreak duration, just like symptoms, can vary from person to person. A person who is undertaking treatment, gets plenty of excercise and eats right may only have a herpes outbreak duration of a few days. Left untreated, or experienced by an unhealthy or ill person, herpes duration can last for up to three weeks.
If you are getting constant or long lasting herpes outbreaks and are otherwise healthy, you may want to consider changing treatment.
